What is Your Vitamin D Level?

by drt on September 20, 2009

Believe it or not, according to Dr. Izzy, most kids, 70% of children in the U.S. are vitamin D deficient, not receiving enough vitamin D, which leaves them vulnerable to obesity, osteoporosis and heart disease. The level of vitamin D can normally be obtained from a simple blood test. However, 80% of Dr. Izzy’s patients including Dr. Izzy himself are deficient in vitamin D. Dr. Izzy has also started prescribing them 2000 IU of Vitamin D daily. Since vitamin D is so important, I will let you hear it directly from Dr. Izzy.
