The Removal of Some Old Postings

by drt on October 11, 2009

If you are one of my frequent visitors, you may probably have noticed the disappearance of some of the entries from Popular Articles list in the sidebar or you may even have seen the message like this when you click any link from Google Search Results that links back to my blog. For example if you find the link of Heart Attack Scare in Google and you click on that link, you are going to be taken to this 404 page with a title:“Something Was Wrong Here,…” with the following message:

404

You are looking for something that is not here now. You can always try doing a search or browsing through the Archives. Don’t loose your hope just yet.

There were two reasons for the removal of these postings. First, due to this new FTC Rules as is reported here or in this FTC site. I don’t want to pay $11,000 fine so I need to make sure that my postings don’t violate these new rules. Second, as an Independent Unfranchise Owner, I need to get a formal permission from Market America to make sure that all the multimedia links I linked back to promote my portal in my posting follow the rules and regulations of Market America too. All these would take time, but I’m sure some of the personal experience that I have posted previously as well as the links to the available information sites may benefit others, so once I know the rules, I would make them available again. Please bear with me on that and thanks for your frequent visits.***
