Saw this animation in Technorati few moments ago and I was moved by the lyrics as well as the story described by the original poster. Why is it only me alone?…. My thanks to Patricia-san for sharing. I just post it here, hopefully some of our Japanese speaking readers would point us toward the English version of the lyrics. My understanding is, this is a story of a father elephant on the morning he found out that it would be the day for him to go for the journey into eternity. 
Can you pick up that emotion simply through the animation?
