Sex in Space – Where are we now?

by drt on July 14, 2009

Over the years, one of the questions that I usually got from some old friends when they knew what I did for living was, did I know anything about Sex in Space?

Of course, if you ask any of the cadre in any Space Operations Control Center, most likely you would get the answer that any communications concerning crew health conditions would strictly be considered as private information, and I’m not really sure how many people in the space operations would have access to those information. Thus my answer would always be the same, I don’t know.

Back in May I came across the posting by astronouts Leroy Chiao on the very subject, then I composed this page but never had a chance to post it until today. I’m sure many of my readers would be interested to find the answer too so I have included what did I find online at that time. I Hope the information in these pages would at least give you an idea, where are we in our knowledge of Sex in Space at this time. Please visit the links and find the answer yourself.

Enjoy!
