Our Nightly Rosary tonight….

My wife and I went to our church tonight. We had an Oktoberfest, the food were delicious and the music was wonderful. I noticed that beside Gurkensalat, I could also eat the Snitzel because it wasn’t too salty. I’m avoiding salty food since I am trying to get rid of the high blood pressure medications that gave me so many side effects. However, both of us could not enjoy the festivity there, since my wife just lost her dear friend Marybeth this morning, and my mind was still with the Rondos that would go to the 9AM Service over there in an hour or so our local time here. I sat beside our Pastor Fr. Louis and we had few interesting conversations on the power of Internet, etc. I was asking him if he knew that Jerry Brown was a Jesuit?
We came home early and we were saying our nightly Rosary few moment ago. Tonight it was the Joyful Mistery, but I noticed the sorrowful tone in my wife’s voice. While we didn’t mention it, I understood that my wife was remembering her best friend Marybeth in her prayer and so did I. By the fourth decade, while reciting The Presententation of Baby Jesus in the Temple, suddenly it downed on me that at this hour at a far away Church half way around the world, we are having baby Gratia at the congregation of Pondok Indah church right in the middle of their service. My voice was trembled a little bit, and I realized that we could not hear each other voices few times.
Indeed, we are with you baby Gratia, we are with you the Rondos, we are with you the community of GKI Pondok Indah, and we are with you together with people who cares about you around the globe,….
While we may come from different denominations, we all present Baby Gratia in your hand Lord, it’s all Your will,….
We also remember you Marybeth. Rest in Peace our dear friend. You will be missed greatly.
