Recently, I met with a couple that worked for a Buddhist NPO that have implemented Market America’s Non-Profit Organization (MA’s NPO) program. We had a discussion about how this program was implemented and what kind of financial results they have gained for their organization. After that meeting I was thinking – this was really a pity.
In the past few years, I have mentioned to people around me about MA’s NPO program, but no one that I have talked to seem to pay any attention to this program.
I really don’t understand. There is plenty of legitimate and morally acceptable money out there for all these NPOs. Why no one want to grab it is totally beyond me?
After that discussion with this Buddhist couple, I thought maybe it’s time to start promoting this MA’s NPO program again. As a starter, yesterday I made a few phone calls to promote the program to Churches in the area. This is a win-win situation since I will also be rewarded (later on) if I could help these NPOs making money by administering or teaching someone from the NPO on how to administer the NPO’s web-portal. But what I will make would never reduce or taken from what the NPO is going to earn. However, suddenly it came to mind, why do I need to help other churches when I know that my own Church has a big mortgage to pay?
This thought prompted me to think of going to see our Pastor. However, what am I going to tell him besides the question that has been lingering in my mind for a long time?
Is there any theological reason that would prevent the Church from getting in excess of $187,000/year from an NPO program
without involving in day-to-day operations of any business enterprise?
I then went to post a question in an MA Distributors mailing list, asking for a reference from other churches that have successfully implemented this NPO program. The reason was simple. I’m not really sure whether promoting the success of a Buddhist NPO is a good way to introduce the program to the churches?
Then I went to search on the Internet, and that was how did I find the video by Rhonda K.Hicks shown above.
Rhonda raised $272,000 in nine months for American Heart Association using MA’s NPO program, which resulted in her receiving of an achievement certificate, according to what she wrote in the posting on the web.
Do I have any doubt on that number? No, not at all since I have seen people making more money ways above than what was written there. That was also why I have embedded Rhonda’s Youtube video here to share with you. Rhonda confirmed that number when I talked to her over the phone while asking her permission for using her video here. (Thanks, Rhonda.)
After talking to Rhonda, I’ve also decided to embed the link for MA’s NPO video here, particularly for those who have a legitimate 501(C) NPO in the United States. In my opinion, this particular video is for people who are also destined to earn this money to provide charity works to more people who are in need.
Note: Since the link to MA’s NPO video is broken, I have asked the permission of Dr. Matthew Link and Bill Taylor for allowing me to use their short intro video that you can also find in youtube. In my opinion, this video is for people who have an open mind, and who are destined to grab this money for their non-profit organizations. (Thanks Dr. Link and Mr. Taylor for the video.) For those of you from Springfield, IL and the surrounding area, you may find Dr. Link and Bill’s phone numbers and email addresses at the end of the video.
If you have any questions, please leave me a note in the comment section below. No, I’m not going to publish your question or contact info unless your comment is intended for others. I will then use your contact address in the comment to get in touch with you, and we can go over the numbers again or any question you have. Since this is a time consuming task, if I could not help you, I will find someone near you to work with you.
Let’s work on the NPO program to prove that the doubting Thomas were wrong.

Thank you for sharing this information to me. I have viewed Rhonda’s videos. She is very charismatic.
I look forward to learning more about NPO’s through the training provided by MA.
Thanks for stopping by, Jill. I agree with you about Rhonda. She is so nice. I had a chance to talk to her over the phone, and she did a great job for AHA.
The NPO’s training is the way to go and good luck.

Last night I went to check the link that I’ve just removed from the posting above, and it turned the link was working again. Well, rather than keep changing the content, I will just leave it this way. If any one really need to know about the content of that video, we can talk about that off line. Just post a message and I will get in touch with you.
Hi, I came across this website as I was looking for some successful fundraising stories that my contacted NPO would like to know. It was great that I found your website. The information is very helpful! I can’t believe that Rhonda raised $271,000 in nine months. They must have made a lot of retail profits through the heart products. what an achievement! I hope the number is real so that I could share this great story with the NPOs in my area (MA). One thing that I’d like to clarify is I remember that our NPO program just started in the last year however you mentioned in your note above ‘in the past few years’. I got a little confused… Other than that you provide us with a wonderful information! Thank you very much!
Hi Julia,
NPO program’s results are totally dependent on the number of the supporters who are willing to buy from the NPO’s web-portal. Rhonda told me that she worked with a bunch of PE teachers and if the number of students involved is large, I think the number that Rhoda’s has reported would not be surprised at all to me, since if you follow what Jeremy or Kevin had mentioned in their presentations, they were talking about a number of $187,000/year with a certain number of supporters. Increasing the number of supporters who change their habits to buy from their favorite stores via the NPO’s web-portal link instead of buying directly from that particular online stores will certainly increase the total amount of royalties.
As for the MA NPO Program itself, it has been out there for a few years now. However, in the past, the requirements were very complicated. If you or someone in your organization has an old MA Career Manual, you may find the info in Chapter 13 Sec. 9. (My oldest CM was dated back to Rev. 8.0 – May 2005.) The requirements for this new NPO program have been simplified to give the participating NPOs the royalties they need, as long as they can promote their NPO web portal to their supporters.
