I’m still taking half dose of Toprol

Some of my friends told me that it was dangerous to reduce my BP medications, but hey, my doctor approved that, my cholesterol level is low and my heart attack risk is low. Also, I watched my salt intake daily, eat low glicymic index food, less fat, less meat, and I also walked after dinner. Tonight I saw the tendency of my BP reading that was heading down.

In his book, Robert Kowalski mentioned that a fairly new observation shows the ability of omega-3 fatty acids to lower blood pressure. They appear to do so by reducing resistance to surges of blood flow in the arteries. (p180). Murray in Encyclopedia of Nutritional Supplements also saying that “increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids can also lower blood pressure. That’s why I keep taking the 1000 mg Omega III daily. I also drink hot cocoa 3 times a day. I ate tomatoes to make sure I have enough lycopene etc., and I can’t wait to get home and see my doctor next week with lower BP.
