I Think Kumiko Is Laughing Now,…

Yesterday, I saw a post in BloggingZoom with a title What Happens To A $15,000 Blog After Its Sold that really caught my attention. That’s why before zooming it, I went to visit his site. It turned out that it was the story about Kumiko Suzuki’s Cash Quest site. Oh, I knew that blog was my first reaction and then I recalled all the excitements when Kumiko and John Chow exchanged few funny posts, such as vibrating Ohmibod, etc.
When I opened my mailbox this morning and saw the email from AGLOCO, I thought about Kumiko again. She must be laughing somewhere, if she also see the same email. But I doubt it. She might not sign up at the time, but definitely she would have read the write up in John Chow or Shoemoney or somebody else’s sites.
Here is part of that email:
Dear Aris,
We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. …..[deleted]….

Back in February, Kumiko wrote that Algoco Will Not Make Money Online Ever! and few more postings against AGLOCO. Those ideas were really against the very popular opinion promoted by John Chow at that time, who had people signed up to join AGLOCO under him like crazy. I was one of them and that’s why I also received the email from AGLOCO. Too bad, I could only convince a friend of mine to sign up for it, and recently, the AGLOCO sign-in button was more of an annoyance than a useful tool and I have been thinking of removing it from my start-up list for a while.
It takes another 10 months to prove that Kumiko was right. But hm, where is she now? Does she have a new blog after she sold the Cash Quest? Her prediction was really good!
As of now, what I have in mind is to remove the AGLOCO software from my machine and then find out where is Kumiko’s new blog.
