Happy Mother’s Day

I was trying to find the origin of Mother’s Day in the United States when I came across this Google Mother’s Day Logo. I like the picture. As for Mother’s Day origin, I found the references at Wikipedia, both for the U.S., as well as other countries.
It’s sad though, while most of the people are celebrating Mother’s Day today, we just saw the devastating videos from the areas the that being affected by tornado last night.
Once again, thanks for those who have emailed me to ask. We only have heavy thunderstorm, even though our sleeps were being interrupted by the repeated tornado warning. There was no tornado last night.
I’d like to take this occassion to say Happy Mother’s Day and thanksgiving to all the mothers out there. Our prayers and thoughts, however, are also with people who are being affected by this wicked weather today.
