Gratia Has Gained 1 kg Just One Month After The Surgery

Just talked to Gratia’s Mom - Deasy - and she was so grateful with Gratia’s progress since my last report in November 2.
Last week they took Gratia to see the Cardiologist and found that her echocardiogram, X-ray and other results were normal. Her left lung has also filled with air instead of mucus or other body fluid. Basically the doctors told the mom that Gratia is a healthy little baby now. The Cardiologist then asked the mom to come for the check up in 1 month, then come for the follow up in 3 and 6 months. After that she would only need to see the Cardiologist back after 1, 2 and 6 years.
If Gratia has any problem with her health, the Cardiologist told them to see a Pediatrician first. Gratia doesn’t need to get her refills once her current medications are used up.
Once I hung up with the mom in Jakarta, I then call Gratia’s Dad who has already gone back to my old home town Timor to work with the East Timor refuges in Atambua, Belu area. Winston was grateful too and I could sense the enthusiasm in his voice. He told me that before the surgery, Gratia only gained 150 - 200 gr/month. But now, in only one month, she has already gained another kilogram to become a healthy 5.4 kg little baby.
I told Winston that my Google Adsense account only has $49.97 so far and with current pace, it’s a long way to gain another $50.03 to get my first Google check. I haven’t checked my other accounts since I didn’t expect that much money after Gratia got the help from the Church in Jakarta and I basically stop the campaign to help her. I am paying more attention on how to increase the traffic on this site. In that way, next time when there is a need, I can move faster.
Winston then assured me that they don’t need the money the way it was before the surgery. I then told him that I’m not so sure when I’m going to send them the money. I’ve promised to give them the money I got from the ppc and other ads in my site when I started the effort to help baby Gratia back in early October. But as you all know, my results was so bad since basically I didn’t have any traffic needed to generate the income. This morning I got an email from TLA, informing me that they have paid $2.25 thru my paypal account. I’m not sure how much would be left after Paypal takes their cut.
That’s why I told Winston, may be when they are heading back to Kupang, I’d just ask my brother to hand them the money whatever the amount I gained in all my ads account, such as Adsense, TTZ, TLA, Shopzilla etc. I just glad that my cyber friend from Boston picked up the phone when I called him early in the campaign. Thanks God he made every thing rolling and they got the money needed for Gratia’s surgery. Thanks pal, and thanks to all your congregation back home, since now we have a healthy baby Gratia. Too bad Winston is in Timor after a 4-day fight with Malaria last week, and Deasy could not email me the new pictures. But I’m happy just to hear the joy in their voices.
