Finally WP Automatic Upgrade Plugin Works

by drt on September 13, 2009

Over the pass few months past 12 months I have had trouble updating my WordPress using WP Automatic Upgrade Plugin for this site while there were no problem whatsoever in other sites that I managed.

Today, while checking my server, I noticed that the server was still using php4 instead of php5. I managed to update to php5 myself but failed. I then called the customer support and they suggested me to add the following line to my .htaccess file, i.e.,

[AddType x-mapp-php5 .php]

Once I upload this new .htaccess file back to my root directory, the WPAU then worked smoothly.

I’m posting this info here for information only. Please consult your Tech Support if you encounter the same problem.
