Some of our family friends have called after watching the news on Tornado in the South East region. The Foxnews channel also mentioned and listed the name of Huntsville on the weather map few times in their Extreme Weather page. However, beside the thunderstorm late last night and early this morning, the situation in Huntsville was not as bad as what happened in downtown Atlanta last night as shown in this Video (Courtesy of Foxnews). There was a hail storm this afternoon but it lasted some 15 – 20 seconds and the hail size was so small.
Watching this video, I got the impression that my son’s office also got a hit. I don’t know if he would find his desk and chair or his computer on Monday or not. It was less than 3 weeks ago when the thunderstorm uprooted trees and damaged the roof and deck of their house if Marietta, GA as shown below. Last night, it looked like it was his office’s turn. Too bad. But thanks God, I’m glad that it happened at night and no one was in his office.
Some of my friends have suggested me for moving out from the area. 
That’s hard for me and my wife. At least, down here in the south, we know when the tornado is coming and what direction it is going to take. For Huntsville area, after being hit so many times, the weather prediction is quite good down here. We would not be caught by a surprise as what had happened in downtown Atlanta last night (knock the wood).
BTW, I just found that Foxnews video has this SHARE feature that will let us embed their video in our site. I wish MA TV will follow this trend, so we don’t need to list the instruction, telling people to click on MA TV button in order for them to reach the video index page.
