Yesterday I wrote about the teaming up of Market America with Google to implement a search solution that will revolutionize the way Market America’s customers shopping online. That in turn would make Market America web portals as the ultimate online shopping destinations. Today I found in youtube the video clips of the presentation of Cyrus Mistry — the Enterprise Product Manager of Google – at American Airline Arena in Miami. I have included the links so you can watch Cyrus’ presentations here.

According to Cyrus, Google’s job is to get the traffic to our web-portal, provides the analytical tools for the customers who visit the web portals to find the products they are looking for very quickly. That will increase the online transactions on the portals, make people buying more stuffs, thus at the end, let the web-portal owners make more money.

If you watch it closely, you will see some of the people sitting high above at the seats behind the stage were showing off some T-shirts. Those are the T-shirts with Market America and Google’s logos, saying “Market America, Powered by Google.” These videos at least give you the feeling on what was the atmosphere at American Airline Arena on the weekend of Feb 8, 2008.

BTW, I was smiling when I heard Cyrus mentioned about the number of documents for a search for ‘Grateful Dead’ for example. I guess Cyrus Mistry is a very popular Indian name, since Google will give you as many documents for Cyrus Mistrys as well, including the documents about the son of a Tycoon, a film character, a writer, or a Bank of America’s employee in London who married a doctor back in 2003 when our Cyrus Mistry here — according to his resume was with Walt Disney in Orlando. At first when I saw the title of those documents, I was puzzled and wondered if Cyrus Mistry that I saw with Mark Ashley and Loren Ridinger on the stage that day really has such a wide range of interests and talents. But finally I realized that this was another of the so many Dave Smiths of the U.S., Slamets of Indonesia, or Hiroshi Itohs of Japan. Hope you enjoy the videos amd thanks Cy for the videos.
