Chowmoney?

This title evolves slowly. I picked it after completed this post.

I was thinking, that there are many real needs out there like what is happening to baby Gratia’s family now. Oprah for example still had an automatic reply to acknowledge my request, but Foxnews for example didn’t even care to reply.

I could understand if people are very careful when being approached for donations. I could almost recite the possible answers from these people. But I couldn’t blame them since I’m one of them. I don’t know if the request is real or phony or scam. Even it is real, do I have a budget for that? Accordingly this time, I decided not to go out soliciting from people I meet in the hall way or in the street, but I was thinking to use the power of Internet to raise money as I have posted in the beginning of these campaign. However, so far I have not seen the power of Internet in a full swing yet.

For example, few days ago I cited the story of Karyn.com where Karyn created awebsite asking people to send her money to pay off her $20K credit card debt. New York Times exposed the story and that’s how I found that site. The rest is history. She paid off her debt from the Internet donations. We haven’t seen a repetition like that instead of fund raising for the good cause cited in the >same posting.

As for Gratia’s donations, I thought with the email from Boston the other day, they would probably found some money locally. However, I could not believe if we could only get less than $100 from Internet campaign.

I strongly believe, there is a pair out there with a match made in heaven. People in need like baby Gratia actually has already had a donatur sitting somewhere out there in the cyberspace. What is preventing their meeting now is traffic, traffic and traffic!

This came to mind when I saw on Foxnews that the Senate Democratic Leader’s letter was sold on Ebay for $2.1 millions. Holy cow! Forget about the story behind that auction or the content of the letter. This is what I thought as an example of the match made in heaven. By showing that the money earn will be used for a good cause in supporting the children of Marines or law enforcement personnels killed in line of duty, the eBay auction attracted the match from a philantrophy who bought the letter at $2.1 millions. Wouw!!!!! With the matching fund from Rush Limbaugh, the total money would be $4.2 millions. That’s a match made in heaven!

So, who is out there in the cyberspace going to take care the needs of baby Gratia’s cause? Do you know any taker?

Since I started this campaign, I has always thought that an exposure by John Chow’s would elevate this story and increase the traffic to generate some cash without soliciting money from people around me. I also thought that John Chow even has the power to raise the money such as what he had done in the past for Union Gospel’s Mission. But what do the story of baby Gratia bought to John Chow and the donators in return?

  1. Baby Gratia is a foreign born child and not a non-profit entity that can provide a tax shelter for John Chow for example.
  2. Baby Gratia is not a church that would granted to cleanse the sin of John Chow due to all evil stuff’s he has done so far.
  3. Baby Gratia could not command an army of RSS readers to let John Chow beat’s Shoemoney,
  4. Even if baby Gratia could find that 100 or 200 or 400 new RSS readers, why should she give it to John Chow if Shoemoney could also offer some donation for her cause?

The list getting longer and longer.

Last night I made a test by sending out an email to my own mailing list of 100 with less than 50 members actively reading the emails daily, plus a few long not contacted friends from my addresses book, trying to find out how many would be happy to add one more junk mail to their inbox for example from John Chow RSS readers. As of now, I only get some 10 names from my list that are willing to do that. Well, that’s quite a high number consider I only have ~50 people actively checking their emails. Can I extrapolated that to another lists? How many people is out there willing to help baby Gratia without open their pocket but have to clean up their mailbox from another unwanted mail coming out from John Chow dot com? What if I can expose John Chow dot com and Shoemoney contests in foreign language papers? Would that helping them in their contest? But first, let us see what are the scores of these two giants? In my count, as of today, Shoemoney has a gain of 1812 new readers while John Chow has 1496 or some 316 people behind. Hm, someone is getting mad out there.

Will they keep this number that way in the next 13 days? Who knows what they have in minds. But then I was checking the comment at johnchow.com and came across Jeff Kee’s comment. OMG, this should be the real match that was really made in Heaven. Chowmoney, you’re really brilliant!

If you haven’t read Jeff’s posting or Chowmoney’s site cited above, please check it out. I’m sure you will love the posts.

And if you laugh at it like me, please don’t forget to share you joy with baby Gratia with a prayer for her successfull operation. Better yet, please visit our sponsor so we can collect some extra money for baby Gratia. As of now, today’s earning is still ZERO, while all time earning is only $35.13 so the total is still less than $100.

Hey Chowmoney, since you’re only making cents like me, would you please ask your Dads to do something for baby Gratia? :-)

Thanks for the mention, hopefully my dads John Chow and Shoemoney will finally admit to my existence. They treat me as if I was never conceived as their evil spawn! There they are driving their hummers and eating $60 hamburgers and all I am left with is their bad looks :-(

You son of two guns!!!! :-) I admit, it was a brilliant idea. I hope your site can thrive like theirs. Please follow up with good works and hopefully you can conceal your identity permanently from them! I’m sure they are trying to track you down before you start to let the creditors chase them with your unpaid bills.
