Autism or ADHD Kid and ECG

Would you ever consider to send your 5-year old child to have an electro-cardiogram?
That was the question Dr. Rosenfeld asked in the video shown below, and of couse the answer was No.
Around two weeks or so ago I posted a topic on ADD showing that according to Dr. Passwater’s book, as well as many anecdotal reports such as the one shown on the video clip I found in youtube and posted there, it seems that there are various alternative methods to deal with ADHD. Indeed, most of the products listed always accompanied by disclaimers, saying “the methods have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and the products reported were not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.” I don’t dispute that. However, while scanning through Dr. Rosenfeld’s Sunday Housecall video archives this evening, I came across this one where Dr. Rosenfeld asked that question above. Since it is related to Autism and ADHD children, I then decided to share with you all as a complement to my previous posting.
Please listen to how the Autism or ADHD medications may affect the blood pressure as well as the heart of little children, and hopefully, if you or someone you know have any Autism or ADHD kid, the information from Dr. Rosenfeld to let the kid have an ECG and cardiac evaluation may one day prevent the kid from an unexpected heart attack caused by the side effect of the stimulant drugs being used to treat them.
